Install the new vanity:

1. Following the specific instructions of manufacturer. You may mark the outline of the new vanity on the wall (including the height in three different locations and width).

2. locating and marking wall studs within the outlined area with a stud finder

3. Usually the vanities have open backs. If not, you’ll need to cut holes in the plumbing pipe. Transfer those measurements to the new vanity back and use a hole saw to cut the holes.

Tips: In order to facilitate the installation, cut the holes a little bigger than the pipe’s width.

4. If you follow the manufacturer’s direction to remove the doors and drawers first, it will be easier to install the vanity.

5. Put the vanity into a right place, lined up with the marks on the wall. Check the cabinet carefully from front to back and from left to right. Using bottom adjustable feet to Make adjustments. If doesn’t have, use shims. Slide them under the base and cut into the appropriate size with a knife.

6. Drill a hole in the back of the vanity and install the screws. For a tile wall, first use a tile bit. Using a wood bit to drill into the stud when you’re through the tile. Using wall anchors that are fit for your wall type – drywall, plaster, or tile. Fix the cabinet with screws.

Install the Sink:

1. Assemble the faucet and sink first, and then install it on the vanity. (To see the steps, check out our How to install a bathroom Faucet video?)

2. A thin bead of silicone adhesive was add to the edge of the sink opening in the vanity. Try not to stick it to the surface of the cabinet.

3. Setting the sink top on the vanity carefully with the help of another person, making sure the plumb is lined up. Curing adhesive.

4. Reconnected the drain after the adhesive has cured. If the tailpiece is too long, use a hacksaw to cut it. (If it’s not long enough, you can find plumbing kits at Lowe’s with extension pieces to reconnect your drain?)

Reconnected the water supply.

5. If you have old water supply valves, you should replace them. Firstly, turn off the main valve faucet.

Hold the galvanized steel pipe with a pipe wrench and then unscrew the old valve with a wrench. Clean the pipe threads and wrap them with tapes. When installing a new valve, you need hold the pipe firmly with a pipe wrench and tighten the valve.

Replacing the compression fitting, use a wrench to hold the valve in place. Unscrew the compression nut with another wrench. Before install a new compression fitting, you need to clean the pipe. Sliding on the new compression nut and brass ferrule. Then use a little pipe joint compound on the ferrule, secure the valve to the pipe with compression nut.

Similar to the valve of the compression fitting, special teeth are used to lock onto the pipe. Create a seal with a rubber ring. Then push the valve onto the pipe. Don’t forget clean the pipe before install it.

Using heat and junction with a propane torch can melt a solder valve pipe and remove the valve. Please note that you should use pliers to remove the thermal valve to avoid burns. Keeping heat away from walls and other flammable objects. A heat shield can be used if necessary. Then clean up the pipe and connect the new valve with solder.

After installing the new valve, turn on the water supply and check for leaks. Connected the supply lines to the new valves.
Along the back edge of the sink, using a bead of bathroom caulk. Clean up the left materials.

7. Turn on the water supply and test for leaks. If there is, make the appropriate adjustments.

8. Re-install the vanity doors and drawers.
